Fun Kids Art Project

I found this cute idea on Pintrest, and Paxton had a lot of fun creating art and getting messy! It's never to soon to introduce art making. It's very important to use non-toxic tempura paint made for kids. I love the idea of incorporating text in with the finger painting. You could spell out their name or a sweet sentiment. These could also make great gifts for grandparents!

Materials needed:
Non-toxic tempura paint
Canvas or foam board
Artist tape
Acrylic paint, glitter, markers, stickers, etc. ( if age permits)

Spell out you special message or word on the canvas using the artist's tape. Make sure it is stuck on really well around the edges. Let your little artist begin to paint all over your surface. Let dry. Slowly peel of the tape. Enjoy your little one's masterpiece!

Autumn Inspiration

This is one if my favorite places to take Paxton for walks. We even took family pictures for our Christmas card on the dock.
